AI (including data science and machine learning) is the most misunderstood popular buzzword of the last decade.

Even though AI is increasingly playing a greater role in our lives and businesses, the vast majority of businesses – especially tech businesses – have yet to invest or even have a plan for how to capitalize on this AI opportunity. All businesses will become AI-powered in some way but how do you get started and what will be the impact?

In this session, Monish will bring his experience of having worked on almost 50 AI projects to share the best practices of how to think strategically about AI. We will start by discussing “what is AI” (AI 101) and then discuss how business leaders and entrepreneurs should approach both innovation and automation opportunities that AI presents.

We will answer some FAQ: Why does data matter? How do AI projects fail? Should AI be bought or built? And many more!

The attendees will take away ideas and opportunities of how AI can play a role in their business and some immediate next steps that they can take.
