Capital Raising with Oziel Law

Join AC partner Allan Oziel to learn more about the common mistakes startups make when planning for a raise.

Event Summary:

It’s no secret, raising funds for your startup is never easy. In today’s environment, it can be extra challenging. But there are things you can do to prepare your startup for capital raising.

As part of the AC’s Investor Month, we’re hosting a virtual workshop with the team from Oziel Law to help you learn more about the common mistakes startups make when planning for a raise and how you can make sure your company is investment ready.

Speaker bios:

Allan Oziel :

Prior to founding Oziel Law, Allan had experience practicing in a full-service Bay Street firm and acted as corporate counsel for a public financial institution. His experience has provided him with a unique perspective of the client’s preference for creative business solutions.

Allan is an active writer and speaker in the legal community. He is currently a director and treasurer of the Canadian Technology Law Association and Chair of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Solo and Small Firm Conference and is a regular speaker on technology and intellectual property law, legal practice management, legal software and legal marketing. In addition to his regular entries at the Oziel Law Blog, Allan is a regular contributor to Lawyers Weekly magazine and ITBusiness.ca.

In his spare time, Allan enjoys spending time with his family, reading up on the latest technology trends and watching his beloved Toronto Raptors.
