February 28 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am EST

There are many opportunities to minimize your global tax burden, primarily through the creation of international tax strategies.

About this Event

With an increasingly open trade environment, Canadian businesses are looking well beyond their borders for expansion into the U.S., Europe and Asia. While the opportunities are boundless, many businesses can be caught off guard by the complex tax legislation.

Whether you are engaging with foreign customers or have global investors, today’s technology companies are faced with a multitude of complexity. Experienced specialists in international tax will point out traps and provide practical tips for navigating global expansion to the US and beyond.

Key Learnings: The tips and traps of international tax as it applies to technology companies

Who should attend: Any company selling (or thinking of selling) to customers based outside of Canada (whether physically or online), or a company with significant foreign investors (whether in its current structure, or contemplated).
