Throughout the past decade we’ve witnessed a transformation in the tech start-up community across Halton. From Haltech Demo Night in 2014 to our latest virtual Hi5 Pitch Competition, we pride ourselves in leading with a focus on empowering you and your company to reach the ultimate potential, whatever your unique needs are.

In March of 2011, Haltech was formed under Communitech with just 2 part time staff in the Sheldon Levy Centre at Sheridan College‘s Trafalgar Campus. In August of that year, we were registered as a not-for-profit corporation.
By March of 2014, we had grown to include 5 full-time staff members, 4 part-time, and 5 Entrepreneurs-in-Residence.
We’re a proud leader in Halton with our highest number of women-led startups to date. Since launching Beyond Boundaries in 2019, over 40% of our clients’ companies are now founded or co-founded by women.
While our team is coming to you virtually, we continue to deliver high quality and personal support to our brilliant network of technology start-ups.
